One night, after one of their many discussions about how to make the house they were about to build "special", Helen had a dream about lying in a bedroom with high, vaulted ceilings. She told John about her dream and said, "I wish our bedroom could be like that. So did John and that dream shaped the whole house. A year after the house was completed, Helen had another dream; that she was carrying their first child.
