Hard to find French Import First Pressing Original Soundtrack album from “Le Dernier Metro” (or The Last Metro as it was titled in the U.S.) a 1980 film Directed by Francois Truffaut and starring Catherine Deneuve, Gerard Depardieu and Jean Poiret. Original Music Composed, Arranged and Conducted by Georges Delerue plus period songs from the finm by Lucienne Delyle, Rina Kitty and Leo Marjane. In the Original Shrinkwrapped Cover with No Barcode, Cutouts or promo markings. Includes the Original factory Inner Sleeve. CONDITION The Sleeve is in its Original Shrink Wrap and in great shape. There is some very slight corner softening / wear and the shrink is partly torn away in the upper right. Beyond that pretty much perfect. Super solid with no cutouts, splits, stains, tears, writing, etc. and would rate Near Mint. The Vinyl is in clean Glossy condition looking barely played and possibly even Unplayed. If you really look closely you can spot a couple light scuffs but still very close to New condition and easily Near Mint. The Labels are Near also Mint. I have summarized the important (i.e. I think everyone knows what Mint means) points below in Goldmine's words: Very Good Plus (VG+): Record surfaces may show some slight signs of wear and may have slight scuffs or very light scratches that don't affect one's listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect the sound are OK. Very Good (VG): Surface noise will be evident upon playing,... Groove wear will start to be noticeable, as will light scratches (deep enough to feel with a fingernail) that will affect the sound. I stand by my grades but would like us to be on the same page so no problems arise. I have been selling Vintage Vinyl for over twenty years on the net and I can count the returns I've had on one hand so I believe my grading is fair and accurate. One important note, I try to grade to these Goldmine guides as best as I can understand and apply them. This gives us both a written standard to go by rather than having to guess. But.... it also means that I don't issue refunds over differences of opinion in grading i.e. "That's not MY idea of a VG record!" - I don't know what your standards are and, as such, can't grade to them.
