Title and plate number printed verso, as published; otherwise blank. Description: A large, finely engraved, detailed map of Denmark and northern Germany with Prussia. There are inset maps of Iceland, the Faroe Islands, a plan of Copenhagen and the Elbe from Hamburg to Cuxhaven. Railways, Canals and undersea telegraph lines identified. The hydrography is printed in blue ink with further original outline colour added by hand. Cartographer / Engraver: A.K. Johnston, with additions & corrections by T.B. Johnston.
