Description: Offered in very good antique condition is one (1) vintage 17 1/4" tall cast pewter spike candle holder with a 5 5/8" base diameter & a 3 3/8" diameter rim where the candle sits. It has a nice even overall dark patina and I believe it's pretty old since I am old (in my 60's) and my Dad once told me it belonged to my great-grandmother. She was french & traveled widely to purchase fabrics for her fabric store, so I would guess it to be European & possibly Danish though it is unmarked other than an etched operation i.d. number on the underside base. A conservative guess on it's age would be from the 1920's-40's but I think it could be much older. Very tall & impressive, it would look wonderful on a pewter set table, a fireplace mantle in a cabin or for accent floor lighting. (The candles shown in the photos are just for illustration and are not included.) Condition: Very good antique condition with no dents, dings, scratches or misshaping.
