Description: KWAMINA, photo reproduction window card on photographic paper. The musical opened NYC 10/23/61 and ran for only 32 performances. The card is from NYC's Fifty Fourth Street Theatre (demolished in 1970 as The George Abbott Theatre after the 1 performance run of the musical Gantry) and features artwork by Galster, cast and production credits. Cast credits include Sally Ann Howes, Terry Carter, Brock Peters, Rex Ingram, Ethel Ayler and Norman Barrs. Music & lyrics by Richard Adler and book by Robert Alan Aurthur. Directed by Robert Lewis and choreographed by Agnes deMille. For some reason the digital photo of this card turned all the white areas blue. The actual repro has a white border and white cast listing. This is a photographic reproduction!! Note: Window cards are 14 x 22 theatre posters. Condition is excellent. Good means just that: desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade. Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders. Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear. All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition. IMAGES: I use a digital camera so the entire piece is visible.
