Description: Ca. 1968 Keller Early American Style Solid Hard Rock Maple Dining Room Set. *Coming currently from a non-smoking, pet free, no children setting. Table was hardly used from the time I purchased it. *From the Old Capitol II collection. USA made. *Set includes table; two approx. 12" leaf extensions (total length approx. 72" with both leaf extensions; two arm chairs (Captain's Chairs) and four side chairs (Mate's Chairs). *Armor-Gard plastic top and Guardsman finish. Plastic top allows worry free dining. Top is currently in very nice condition. *Minor wear; table and chairs present very well overall *Second extension leaf not shown in photos, but is included. Seat covers not included. Notes To All Interested: Chairs are also in very nice condition. There is some color variation between the six chairs. But, only one of the chairs is fairly noticeable. Please see second photo, chair in the center left is somewhat darker than the other chairs. I'm not sure what caused this. It came like this when I purchased it.The chair seats are in very nice condition as well. Braided seat covers are not included. You can find same or very similar seat covers from Colonial Mills, for instance. I never used it with the second leaf extension; so, I'm not sure how or if that actually functions properly. In addition, the table does not join together completely without at least one leaf extension in place. So, if you wanted to use the table with no extensions (in other words, a round breakfast table), you would need to fix whatever is preventing the table from not joining when there is no extension in place. It looks to be something with the dowel pegs that join in the holes; it leaves about a half inch gap and will not join any further. To be certain, it's perfectly fine if you use one leaf extension as shown in all of the photos. I always used it with the single ~12" extension. It is approx. 60 inches long with one 12 inch extension. The table is approx. 42 inches wide. Approx. 30 inches in height. Approx. 72" with both extension leaves in place. These are approximations and also based on the catalog measurements for this specific table.Dining set likely made in their Culpepper VA plant. Keller was based out of Corydon, Indiana, but also had a plant in Culpepper, VA. This table came from a Washington, DC area estate. Has very likely had only two owners since purchased new. It is in very nice condition overall. I will not be able to ship this myself. You will have to arrange shipping.
