Description: Z1RTC boost gauge bracket.You are buying a beautifully reproduced boost gauge bracket. This bracket was painstakingly reproduced using an original American Turbo Pak cast aluminum bracket as found on a Kawasaki Z1RTC as well as other American Turbo Pak brackets included with kits by that manufacturer in the 1970's. The bracket fits much better than the originals (the originals required filing and enlarging of the mounting holes). This product is manufactured in very strong plastic using a 3D printing process and we have experimented with the finish to make it closely resemble the cast aluminum of the original part. The fit of the boost gauge in the bracket as well as the fit on the handlebar clamp is superior to the original. Additional support has been engineered in to this bracket to give strength where the original was lacking. Metal inserts have been fitted in the clamping holes to keep the plastic from distorting or cracking when installed. The inserts are not visible when installed giving the bracket an extremely authentic appearance. The final pictures show the bracket fitted with one of our original type boost gauges (on other auction). This auction is for one bracket as pictured.
