Description: JVC RC-828JW Stereo Radio Cassette Player Boombox Works But ***READ DESC*** This unit powers on and the tape and radio function. Rewind and Fast Forward DO NOT WORK. Sometimes the left speaker has static when first producing sound, but this generally goes away. Biphonic Process and Mono settings work fine. Stereo - Binaural works with Radio but only partially while playing a tape. The switch is a little sensitive. The Biphonic Process setting produces the loudest sound. Not sure if this is by design or not. The Treble and Bass buttons work. Left and right volume are fine however, the Right speaker is louder than the Left at the same volume level. Runs off both the Power Cord (Included) and 8 - D Size Batteries (NOT INCLUDED). Did NOT test the recording since I do not have a blank tape. Cosmetically a very nice unit with no cracks / missing plastic. Could be a very nice unit with some restoration / repairs. See pics and video for more details.
