This assures you of a box that not only sounds the way it was designed to sound but also will give you the most life from your W6 subwoofer.All of our special edition boxes for W6 subwoofers have the following features giving you a beautiful enclosure.FEATURES:Internal bracing used to strengthen the panels of the box, anytime you can eliminate panel flexing in a box you gain output from power that would otherwise be wasted.Plexiglas port trim plate with W6 logo in red plexi with black background letters. This really gives the box a custom look.All of our special edition W6 boxes now come with high quality 8-32 threaded inserts built into the baffle and include the mounting screws as well. Now you can feel confident when you bolt the speaker into the baffle using machines screws. This enables you to remove the subs for inspection or any other reason as many times as needed without ever compromising the integrity of the baffle.We use 1" baffles on our W6 enclosures. You may see others with thicker baffles, but here is the reason why we will not ever use a baffle thicker than 1" When you use a thicker baffle it actually chokes off proper air flow from around the back of the speaker basket. this is detrimental to the way subwoofers are designed to work. Plus our 1" baffle with the threaded inserts clamps the speaker to the baffle becoming basically one piece.The total net internal volume is 1.3 cuft. per side. Built to JL specs, tuned to 33Hz. as recommended by JL Audio.This net volume is arrived at after taking into account the displacement of the subwoofer.Specs are as follows:34" wide, 15.75" high, and 18" deep.Box weight empty: 79 lbs.
