Description: 15x110 Boost to 12x110 Boost Fork Thru Axle Conversion Kit for the Trek 1120 rigid carbon Disc fork. Allows use of 12x110 wheels (or 12x100 and 15x100 with additional spacers) in these forks. Kit includes the following: •Thread Adapter: M14x1.5mm external thread, M12x1.5mm internal thread; material: stainless steel •Thru Hole Insert: 15mm OD x 12mm ID, 24mm long •Axle: 12mm x 162mm long, M12x1.5mm threads, 5mm hex recess Installation Notes: 1. Thread adapter is supplied with low-strength thread locker pre-applied. Use a small coin or washer with an adjustable wrench to tighten the thread adapter into the fork dropout from the INSIDE. A heat gun or hair dryer can be used to soften the thread locker if necessary. 2. Use grease on o-ring of thru hole insert and install into fork from the outside with a combined pushing and twisting motion. Do NOT use thru axle to drive thru hole insert into the fork. 3. Use grease on threads of thru axle. Torque 9 - 13.5 N*m using 5mm hex key.
