Description: SUPER RARE True Vintage JAMS WORLD Hawaiian Shirt Large "Dave's World" R/N#4017I don't normaly use Super Rare, but it apllies to this shirt, I've never seen a label like this since I started collecting and selling Vintage Hawaiian Shirts, not on any vintage Hawaiian Shirts collector books either. I am not sure about the exact production year but I was told that this particular style was redone 14-15 years ago in a different colorway combo and changed the name to LEGENDS.The inside label reads:SURFER LINE HAWAIIR/N# 40179STYLE# M630RECUT#0207LARGE100% RAYONMaterial: Spun crashed RayonCondition: Aside from a couple of pin head tinny stains (hardly visible, see pictures #4 & #7, also the pin hole of the retail label from the shop I bought it is inside the stain, pic #7) the shirt is in excellent shape for what it was an utilitarian surfers shirt and it's age, even the spare button still attached to it.I don't belive that the creator of the company, David Yale Rochlen unticipated the big sucess Jams World is today, when I first got it and started researching it I was thinking to keep it but is not an item to be worn and frankly I don't have the spacee for it, I also think something this unique must be preserved with the right collector or perhaps an institution.
