Frequently Asked Questions (F.A.Q.): What is Injustice Arcade Limited Edition Beta ("Injustice Beta")?Injustice Beta is the first market launch of Injustice Arcade cards from Raw Thrills. Dave and Buster's locations exclusively had first rights to launch Injustice Arcade in September of 2017, and due to barcode errors, sizing of the vending port, and extremely high player consumption and demand, a new provider and printing process was selected to remedy these issues ("Series 1"), and Injustice Beta was discontinued. In short, Injustice Beta is similar to "Alpha/Beta" in Magic: The Gathering, or the "Base Set" in Pokemon; the first of its kind, and limited in supply and availability. How much Injustice Beta is there, and how long was it around? The market launch of Injustice Beta through Dave and Busters was across roughly 80 locations nationwide, with roughly 200 cases/2 palettes of total nationwide distribution before switching to the 2nd printing, a.k.a. Series 1. There was only about 600 of each Ultra Rare "?" Holofoil, and around 1500 of each Ultra Rare "?" Nonfoil card to have been printed for the Injustice Beta launch. Due to the general popularity of Injustice Arcade, the Dave & Busters Advantage Player ("AP") community, avid DC fans, and numerous passionate card collectors, most major US markets ran dry within 45 days, and no machines nationwide had Injustice Beta cards within 60 days of launch.*verified through D&B AP community, and figures verified through multiple D&B Game Techs and Amusement Managers across 5 states and 15+ D&B locations nationwide How can you tell the difference between Injustice Beta and other sets?Injustice Beta cards are slightly thinner in width than Series 1 or Series 2 cards, and it was precisely because of this sizing that the cards were smaller than the vending port, causing jamming, scuffing, and sometimes significant damaging of the cards and machine. However, the artwork was intended to be presented at this scale, so Raw Thrills' printing company actually stretched out the artwork of the Series 1 and Series 2 cards, giving most cards a clumsier and bulkier look. Injustice Beta has the original artwork as it was intended to be appreciated, and you can put any Beta card next to a Series 1 or Series 2 and notice the drastic difference. In addition, Injustice Beta barcodes on the back of the card take up the whole tab, while Series 1 and Series 2 have a more compact barcode. This helped to reduce the amount of barcode scanning errors, but also necessitated the expansion of the card and a poor and awkward scaling of the original artwork. How did you get so much Injustice Beta? Both "Honey" and "Baby" of our CardShop name were D&B AP's by profession (respect to MewtwoSB, the godfather of the AP community), and they, like most Advantage Players nationwide, became obsessed with collecting full sets of Injustice Arcade since the very first week the D&B stores tested it. Once major locations ran out of Injustice Beta in their region of the U.S., Honey and Baby traveled to other lesser known markets on less busy days (preferably 1/2 price Wednesdays ;-) ) to scoop up as much of these hard-to-find cards as possible. If this is so rare, why are you selling these cards?Since January 2018, we have received requests from eBayers who ask us about "do you have the thinner cards," or "do you have the cards with the different barcodes" multiple times a week. We did our best to accommodate all requests in the past, fulfilling all buyers with Injustice Beta to all who asked nicely, while also unfortunately getting wrongfully accused multiple times of "counterfeiting," during the switch to Series 1 cards due to the sizing and barcode difference. Around this time, many copycats and other bad faith eBayers started replicating the success of HoneyBabyCardShop, copying our listings, photos, pricing, and other unscrupulous deeds, so we held on to our Injustice Beta supply for the long haul, in the hopes of differentiating our offerings. Now that we have the direct-to-manufacturer contacts and inventory for Series 1 and Series 2 that no other eBay copycats have, we decided it was a good time to re-open the Injustice Beta product line to further distance ourselves from above mentioned copycats and bad faith eBayers (you know who you are, P*******4E**, shame on you!), while providing collectors a treat! Why choose HoneyBabyCardShop? We are a husband and wife team that do everything for our customers, and go above and beyond to over-deliver on every transaction. We care about our eBayers and have always tried to go the extra mile; just check our feedback! We understand that taking care of our eBayers eventually facilitates a better lifestyle and extra care for our little one, but that's not all. We are honored to call parents, grandparents, collectors, entertainers, businessmen and individuals from all walks of life our customers. We have even helped to bring some additional happiness to the severely and terminally ill on multiple occasions, for which we are profusely humbled by their praises and recognition. We value the smiles that we bring to the faces of our younger and smaller customers, and always provide an extra bonus that's on the house, because a little good karma never hurt anyone! How is HoneyBabyCardShop different from all other eBay Injustice Arcade sellers?HoneyBabyCardShop was one of the first on eBay to offer Injustice Arcade cards, and the first one to offer the variety and inventory of Injustice Arcade at our scale. We have always had the largest supply, and have always done more for every one of our customers. We have a direct-to-manufacturer relationship that requires sizable purchases, commitments, and multiple licenses, so that we can bring eBayers Injustice Arcade Series 1 and Series 2 cards that are perfect Gem Mint, direct from the manufacturer's RFID box, and never pass through the damaging rollers of the arcade machine. Instead of focusing on profit, we pass on all of our wholesale savings and more, to benefit our eBayers by providing bonus cards on every single transaction! Does HoneyBabyCardShop sell Marvel Contest of Champions cards, or any other arcade cards? We used to sell D&B Arcade Coin Pusher cards, and still do but to a much smaller extent. We do not sell or want to sell Marvel Contest of Champions cards, because we don't want to disrupt a saturated market which likely has multiple eBayers in it already (people suck, but we're trying not to be like everyone else and go ruin others' market). We are happy with the business we do in Injustice Arcade, and want to focus on that. Besides, our opinion has always been that Marvel video games have historically sucked, and DC video games have historically been awesome. Are you guys DC Fanboys or something? No, not at all. The corollary to the above statement is that DC movies have historically sucked, and Marvel movies have historically been awesome. Have you seen the train wrecks that Zack Snyder put in the theaters? Wonder Woman and Aquaman have been better and Shazam was meh, but the MCU and its 22 movies wrecks anything DC has offered up on screen. If you have any additional questions, concerns or any special requests, always feel free to email us at our eBay account. If you actually read everything above and have any comments, commendations or criticisms, let us know!tl;dr We've got some really rare cards, and just want to be the best eBayers we can be and provide you with a pleasant transaction!
