Description: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This was imported from Japan without any authentication listed with 'writing on the cover' however when I saw the pictures I was about 99% sure it was the real deal. Now that it's here I'm 100% certain; I can't be 100% certain because nearly anything can be faked but who in the world would fake something this way and on this album. I've attached other copies of the Ian Gillan autograph although to be fair I have seen other signatures of his with more crossover into the I but the first picture I attached is a nearly identical signature to this. According to discogs this album was released in Japan on May 5, 1977 and I have attached a picture of a promo ad from a Japanese magazine with a June 1977 date. I couldn't find any confirmation of this theory however I would feel safe betting this album was signed at a meet and greet in a record store (they were not on tour in Japan at the time but I found other 1977 dates). I believe the inscription reads, 'To Motoko Lots of Love Ian Gillan XXX Sat. 11th June, 1977' with what looks like the copyright symbol. Motoko would have to be a joker on another level to fake this. Especially the copyright symbol. I'm scoring the cover as VG+ because of the writing but beyond that there is light corner wear and light color wear to the top seam. The vinyl looks almost brand new but I have not test played it and am scoring it as EX. This is really more about the signature. Album will be mailed in a cardboard mailer between cardboard with bubble wrap. If you have any questions please let me know and thanks for looking!
