Granted, I lost almost 7" from the drafting table I was using as a computer desk for years. But I ordered a great Bamboo riser that matches perfectly the whole width of the table/desk. 1-the finish of the table flawless. Solid wood, not imitation thereof.2- the base solid. Sturdy, no shaking when typing. I had a Vivo keyboard tray and it fits perfectly. It allows more room on my desk.3- the legs very solid simple, industrial and yet it blends great with the rest of my furniture in my living room.4- the prices nothing compared to other adjustable desk in the market. The closest was double what I paid for this one.5- I wish I could fit the 52", but that would be out of the questions. So far, I have a 27 iMac with a riser that takes the entire width of my desk, and a reading lamp.
