The Resource Center provides help and referral to services for victims and survivors of human trafficking, as well as training and general information for those who wish to provide assistance to victims.The Florida Human Trafficking Poster informs victims of human trafficking that they are protected under United States and Florida law. The poster provides information on how to contact the National Human Trafficking Resource Center online or via text.Posting RequirementBy January 1, 2021, healthcare professionals licensed by the Acupuncture, Medicine, Osteopathic Medicine, Chiropractic Medicine, Podiatric Medicine, Optometry, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing Home Administration, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Nutrition, Respiratory Care, Massage Therapy, and Physical Therapy Boards must display the Florida Human Trafficking Poster. The poster must also be displayed in emergency rooms of general acute care hospitals, in strip clubs and other adult entertainment establishments, and in any business establishment that is not owned by a regulated health care practitioner and which offers massage or bodywork services for compensation. The poster must be at least 11″ x 15″ in size, and must be printed in English and Spanish. The text must be at least a 32-point type.The Department of Transportation is required to display the Florida Human Trafficking Poster in every rest area, turnpike service plaza, weigh station, primary airport, passenger rail station, and welcome center in the state which is open to the public.
