Highly abstract dance mask with a round disk on upper portion connected by two rectangular sections which descend into a triangular form, entire surface covered in a pattern of black and white checks. The mask represents a wild bush spirit and is one of the largest and most abstract of all African masks. They are danced during the Yam harvest and other auspicious occasions in tribal life.
