Description: HTF “WAGNER” O Block Logo #8 Skillet This piece is in good restored condition. It is free of any chips or cracks. It sits flat on my granite countertop. Cook surface is smooth with an average amount of utensil marks. There is shallow sulphur pitting on the bottom seen in the pictures. Use pictures as a part of description. All of Milwaukee Iron Restoration’s cookware is restored using the safest methods possible. Every piece of cast iron starts out with a lye bath. This will remove all of the old seasoning and crud from years of buildup. The next step is a day or two in one of our electrolysis tanks. This process removes any rust and remaining debris down to the molecular level of the iron (SCIENCE!!!). After this, each piece is scrubbed clean and the seasoning process is started. Each piece is seasoned a minimum of three times using grape seed oil. Grape seed oil gives a nice black finish that last for years. Each piece is left with the best nonstick coating on planet earth.
