This is a genuine 81" x 81" U.S. Six Sheet ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTER issued by the studio when the film was released. This poster has been Linen Backed and is ready for framing. This poster is HUGE! An extremely rare size for this title. SIX SHEETA HUGE American movie poster measuring approximately 81" x 81", roughly six times the size of a one sheet. Produced in 2 or more overlapping sections that are assembled together for display. Almost always folded. EXTREMELY RARE. Very large and cumbersome they are usually printed on a thicker paper than one sheets. Originally designed to be pasted on small billboards. Studios stopped issuing these in the 1970's. This size poster always makes a statement and dominates a room. Please note that there is an approximate 1.5" white linen border not seen in our photo. These can be very difficult to find in any condition! A long time can go by without one of these coming up for sale. You will have trouble finding a nicer one. CONDITION/GRADE: C8 EXCELLENTLINEN BACKED Very typical fold line touch up / restoration. A few small edge pieces (nothing in the main image) invisibly repaired. Freshly Linen Backed and restored in December 2023. Now appears NM-Mint C9-C10. Looks beautiful! Well preserved. This is NOT considered a defect. They were shipped to theaters this way. Vintage rolled posters do exist, however they are extremely rare. Also please note that most movie posters were actually used at the theater, and some will contain slight imperfections such as: writing on the back, pin holes, fold wear, small tears, etc. These are all very common and to be expected, but if they bother you, all these minor flaws can be remedied in the linen backing process.
