Description: The_Authentic_Arrowhead_Store HOPEWELL CENTRAL MISSOURI This very fine HOPEWELL came from Central Missouri and is obviously authentic. It shows nice use and excellent patination. It is made from a beautiful heated Burlington chert. It is very thin with exceptional flaking, including multiple overshots. It was broken and glued an inch up from the base and has a small amount of restoration in the crack. Hopewell points are Woodland in age, ranging from 1,500 to 2,500 years old. Without the restoration, this would have been a very high grade artifact. Still, a finely made point like this one will definitely made an excellent addition to any authentic collection.
