Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, 1760-1849). Color Woodblock Print "Sōshū Shichirigahama". Laid Down. Signed. Ca.1830-1832. The print is framed under glass. <img src="https://ti2.auctiva.com/web/aswCredit.gif" border="0"><br><a href="https://www.auctiva.com/?how=scLnk0" target="_blank"><img src="https://ti2.auctiva.com/images/sc1line0.gif" border="0"></a> Shichirigahama in Sagami Province (Sōshū Shichirigahama), from the series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji (Fugaku sanjūrokkei) by Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), known as Hokusai. Edo period (1615–1868). He was a brilliant and unique artist, ukiyo-e artist and printmaker of the Edo period, working as a painter and printmaker. He was famous both in Japan and abroad. Measurements:It is approx. 9 3/8" (24 cm) x 14 3/8" (36.5 cm) image size; 15 1/2" (39.7 cm) x 20 1/4" (51.7 cm) with frame. Condition: The print is a normal antique condition.
