Description: This is an HO gauge KEY IMPORTS model of the Union Pacific 4-6-6-4 Challenger locomotive. It is painted two-tone grey with silver striping. in 2006, It has spent its entire life since acquired either in its original box or in a sealed display case. The factory paint is in beautiful condition! I cannot find any paint chips or rubs. I do not have a layout and I have never run this model on anything other than a short test run on a test track. I was able to apply power to the model on a short test track and confirmed that it operates quietly and smoothly in both directions. Further, the model has an operating directional headlight and tender light. The detail is excellent, as can be seen in the photos. This is a really nicely crafted model as can be seen in the photos. Also included is a the original package of small screws. The box is in excellent condition, as is the interior foam.
