It’s perfect with transceivers for emergency use, Field Day, or in locations with antenna restrictions. Antenna length is approx. 65 ft. and comes with handy wire winder for portable use--external hardware is stainless steel. Power ratings: 115w PEP SSB, 55w CW, 30w digital. The matching unit contains a 49:1 transformer that matches the high input impedance of an EFHW antenna to your radio. It is resonant on 40/20/15/10m (will work on WARC bands/ 6m with tuner) The end fed antenna works well in several configurations including horizontal, sloper, inverted V, inverted L, and vertical configurations. Hang the insulator end from a tree limb or pole and attach the coax to the SO-239 connector. No counterpoise wire or ground is required, but a ground is recommended for safety. NOTE: Wire winder appearance/matching unit box may vary due to parts availability.
