Heinrich Kley ORIGINAL Early Career water Color Of His Hometown Late 19th C.

Description: This is a piece I DO NOT WANT TO SELL! But , our barn was destroyed in hurricane Helene and we desperately need to repair it for our livestock. I have an interesting provenance for this water color in all honesty, Let’s start with the appraisal first though. I brought it to an appraiser that is accredited like suggested from others, that was listed out of KY on the appraiser’s association . Org website . And I was told; “it is a very early work of his in water color. This is an open air theater still in business to this day in Germany , and he most likely did it whilst still in school or very early out of school. Which was also very close to this specific location. The painting will need to be conserved to realize its ultimate auction price , but non the less, is a very interesting piece to people whom collect his artwork”. the piece currently realizes between 1000-1500 Un-conserved , but has the potential to fetch much more. With framing and a simple cleaning of the item it could fetch much more. “ Provanance: My aunt owns an antique store in upstate Ny and many years ago when I was pregnant with my last child, I was meandering Around her warehouse and came across a pile of what looked like just random junk. I had asked her where it came from (I didn’t know anything about it, I just thought it was stunning for being a water color. She told me it came from a house clean out in Hoosick Falls NY of an elderly German couple and she didn’t know anything about it. So I purchased it. I did a little research and honestly didn’t come up with anything. So I tucked it away safe and forgot about it for years. Until we moved. Which forced me to start bringing stuff out of hiding, and I found it again. So I put it on my apothecary cabinet in the dining room of high because I genuinely liked it. Then about a month ago, I was getting ready to write an article on Walt Disney, in regards to where he got his artistic influences for his Disney creations. And lo and behold, I came across the name Heinrich Kley. That’s when it dawned on me that the signatures I was seeing in these pictures actually matched the random painting sitting right behind me as I wrote the article. It was a very “light bulb” moment for me to be honest 😂 and almost like it was a gift from god. Like I stated before our fencing and barn got heavily effected from the previous months hurricane that reached all the way into the mountains of east TN and SW Va (where I am) and I literally just don’t have to money to repair these things at the moment. Moving your life a thousand miles away from everything you know, really drains your wallet temporarily. I really hope this painting reaches the right audience and you read this entire description.
