Description: This is a unique highly artistic well-made basket. A variety of techniques were used to make the basket. It is in overall excellent condition. There are, however, a few pieces that have detached from the weave on the very end of the tail. They can be protected by gluing them down. One of the handles folds down, but the other one cannot fold down. To the best of my knowledge, this piece was probably made by Shanghai Handicrafts in the 1970s.
