Description: Here we have a vintage 1960's Hagstrom III Electric Guitar. Made in Sweden. Serial number 608443. This Hagstrom III is in pretty nice shape for its age. It appears to be all original with the exception of some changed tuners. There are Grover's on it. You can see some of the original holes on the back of the headstock. It weighs a beautiful 7lbs even and it comes with its original Alligator chipboard style case. The guitar has just been setup with 9-42's and is playing well. The neck is straight and the truss rod is working nicely. The frets are in great shape. It plays like a good Hagstrom should. It has a thin neck with a vintage radius so chords are easy to play. All the electronics are working great with no issues. The switches and pot have been sprayed out. The general chrome finish on the hardware is in great shape too. Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good condition. It has some nicks and paint chips that have been filled in by a previous owner. Some dings, small indents, and general wear and tear. The back of thence has some finish wear in the clear coat. The bass side by the 2nd fret and on the center of the back of the neck down to about the 7th fret. Most likely from play wear and from being leaned up against an amp most likely. Overall, this is pretty clean example for its age. Plays and sounds great. Add this one to your collection today.
