Description: Gymnocalycium friedrichii Agua Dulce LB2178 Variegated A gorgeous variegated form of this Gymnocalycium that is dark orange to purple red in high light, bright green in lower light. This is the rare selected form that is known for very prominent ribs and distinctive horizontal striping. High light and keeping the plants on the dry side is needed to maintain the color at this level, otherwise it will become more green. Flowers are a pretty pink color. Generally doesn't clump. Mature plants are usually around 4-5" wide. Takes normal cactus care. Protect from frost. These plants are on their own roots. Not sure why so many of these on eBay are grafted, they grow just fine on their own! You will receive the plant shown in the images. Plant is shown growing in a 3.5" pot.
