Description: 1980-81 Guild S-65D electric guitar Make an offer !!SN# ED100125is a very rare bird and highly sought after. In this condition they are really super rare. This one is in collectable condition with no wear and only a few small dings very tiny hard to show. Made March 80-81 I believe. There were less than 250 made from what I can find. Plays so well and easy the nut us 1 5/8th neck is c shaped and the radius is 7.25’Made from a single piece of mahogany. Controls are as follows: Volme tone and coil tap switch. The S65D was only made for a very short time by Guild in the Westerly, Rhode Island factory. S65D: One Dimarzio Dual-Sound humbucker pickupThe pickup in the Guild S65D is a Dimarzio Dual-Sound. According to Dimarzio, the Dual-Sound pickup is the same as a Super-Distortion, but where the vintage Super-Distortion had a single lead with a shield in 1979, the vintage Dual-Sound had three wires and a shield for more wiring options.This one has super low action new strings Straight neck great set up. No fret wear excellent plus condition. Frets were cleaned fretboard oiled and the guitar cleaned inside and out. This one won’t last long.
