Description: Great LODGE 12" Triple Hand-Seasoned Carbon Steel Skillet As with all cast iron and carbon steel, to maintain a working pan, it must be handwashed without soap, dried immediately and completely, and rubbed with cooking oil after every single use, or it will rust within half an hour or less. Never let soak in water or let water soak in it. To be absolutely certain your pan is 100% dry, place in hot (300 degrees) oven for a few minutes. This seems like a lot, but it's oh so worth it!
