Description: This elegant lady sits atop a trinket box, or possibly an age-old powder box. Her endearing dress has an iridescent shine with a lustrous sparkle. There are not many like her available. A unique find. She measures approximately 6” X 4”. I wish I knew her maker and production date to share with you, but I cannot find the info. On the bottom is etched the name Bavaria, #3041, and what looks like a Roman Numeral II (crossed) or initials TI. I am guessing here. If you decipher it, please let inquiring minds know. She wears a flirty short dress with a fitted bust that accentuates her curves. The dress is trimmed with a ruffle around the low-cut neckline and the pale color seems to glisten into different tones. She has a beautiful set of long legs and black dancing shoes. Her ridged base is green at the bottom fading to near white at the top. The lid is the cushion where she sits with great charm. Her cheeks are flushed as relives the night of dancing with the one she loves. She holds a pink flower closely. The one he gave her, along with the two in her hair. She might stash the flowers in her trinket box for safe keeping and future memories. I must report she had a mishap and cracked her trinket box, ever so slightly. In one of the pics, I circled the spot so you know where it is while looking at the other images. It appears to only be cracked on the outside surface. Other than that, this work of art is nearly perfect. Please note. This figurine is in great vintage condition. There are no other scratches, chips, or repairs other than the crack as described above. I see no crazing. She is hand painted so there may be fading or imperfections, but nothing obvious. Overall, for the age she is a beauty. Please review the pictures with care. I am happy to send additional ones if needed. All sizes are approximate. I only clean the figurines with a feather duster. I do not wish to damage these treasures, so I leave that up to you.
