Notice the elegant gilding and other painted highlighting. This rail is in excellent antique condition: straight and solid and with no woodworm, dry rot or other damage of any significance. As we do with all of our furniture, we finished it with a coat of antique grade paste wax that will maintain its beauty for years to come.
