Description: Can’t get enough of these Firebirds—stellar axes with all the MOJO. This Gibson 2013 '70s model with the mini humbuckers is 100% original and comes from a smoke-free studio here in LA. The '60s slim taper neck is killer, crack-free, and aside from a few little top-layer marks, it’s in great shape. Crack and repair-free and has had a full fret level, crown, and polish, and it plays like butter. Tight truss rod and a nice dark board. What more could you ask for....The mahogany body is feather-light at only 7.2 lbs. And boy, does this thing sing! Sounds wild with the mini humbuckers and just kills it across the board. Very clean overall with clear hardware and some light top-layer scratches. It has one 3-5mm indent at the top curve and a small nick at the bottom curve—can hardly be seen. The rear is great, with some top-layer scratches and a few little marks at the top rear curve—these satin finishes are super thin for maximum resonance. There is a little 5mm chip where the strap button is. It’s a 9/10 for condition. We listed it as very good, but it’s excellent—and what an axe, man!Comes with the original padded Gibson bag.Set up with 9-42's, this is by far the best '70s tribute model we have had. What a tone! It plays like creamy butter and is lightning fast.
