He happily accepted and set about creating the classic images in this volume, capturing the very essence of the excitement and fascination generated by the band. His physical closeness to the Stones – he was often only feet away from them on stage – has resulted in a wealth of memorable images, from stunning live shots to intimate moments backstage. Michael's archive documents in breath taking detail the seventies, which many consider to be the most interesting decade in the band's history, and beyond – resulting in a photographic history second to none. The book is housed in a silk-screened solander box covered in orange buckram. This is No. 1,007 of 1,750 limited edition collector’s copies, each hand-signed by Michael Putland. There is a split to the top left corner of the bottom of the box, the condition is very good. The condition of the book is near mint. Very Good = Some wear and tear but overall presentable and usable. Good = Apparent wear and tear but with obvious deterioration of the condition. Poor = Extremely worn. A plus or minus after the grading indicates that the condition is marginally higher or lower than the stated grade.
