Interesting history tidbit -- Capitol made time records including flying from Tokyo, Japan to Wilmington, Delaware in 12 hours, 25 minutes! This plane was with Capitol until 1981. According to the box, this is a Limited Edition model with only 500 units produced. This model was part of my husband's collection who is now flying in heaven. Model is in very good condition but is suffering from some ZINC ROT around the nose area and on one of the wings (see last three pictures). Box is in excellent condition! The stand seen in the photos is not included with this model. It is a Gemini Jets stand and can be purchased on other eBay listings. After receiving feedback that one of the models I had sold and shipped had arrived with its wings unattached, I must stress that what happens during shipping I have no control over. I am extremely honest when listing and describing these models. If I say they are in mint condition, then that is how they leave my home. I strive to package as thoroughly as possible with bubble wrap wrapped around the model's box and different types of stuffing placed in and around open areas, etc. to insure it won't shift in transit.
