Description: GC America MI Paste Plus (Pkg. 10) MI Paste Plus ® by GC America adheres easily to soft tissue, pellicle, plaque, and even hydroxyapatite. Paste reacts similar to the mineral/statherin relation in saliva supplying bio-available calcium, phosphate, and fluoride, required for supersaturation to take place. How it Works: MI Paste Plus® contain RECALDENT® (CPP-ACP). Casein Phosphopeptide (CPP) are natural occurring molecules which helps to release calcium and phosphate ions. As well as stabilize Amorphous Calcium Phosphate (ACP), which is also the source of calcium and phosphate. RECALDENT® milk-derived protein helps decrease dentin hypersensitivity Product Details: Supplies calcium, phosphate, and fluoride needed for patients with poor saliva flow. Use For: patients who experience tooth sensitivity; for sensitivity before and after tooth whitening; for sensitivity before and after professional cleaning; and for desensitizing. When fluoride meets RECALDENT®, the peptite preferentially combines with and stabilizes fluoride to create the ideal source for building fluorapatite.
