The item has been tested and is fully operational. While the locomotive runs well, it would benefit from a thorough cleaning, which would significantly enhance its appearance. There is some rust present on the truck springs, indicating that this locomotive may have been used outdoors. The original box is included, though it shows signs of wear consistent with its age. Overall, this is a solid, well-maintained locomotive that would make a great addition to any collection! Ask any questions PRIOR to making your purchase.
