Description: Here are 2 cups & saucers in the Desert Rose pattern by Franciscan pottery. Very Good condition, no chips, cracks or crazing but some light wear with light staining middle of saucers and inside cups. These have the 1953 - 1958 marks. Cups measure 4" across not including handle. Saucers measure 5 3/4". This pattern was introduced in 1941, and made in California by Gladding McBean until 1984 when it was purchased by Wedgwood and production was moved to England where it was produced until 2000. I just obtained a large set of this popular pattern from a local estate. It had early pieces from the 50's made by Gladding McBean in the USA with the black circular mark, some with the TV mark from the 60's and some newer pieces marked Made in England. I will be listing more of these pieces in the coming months so please keep watching my listings. These will be packed carefully and sent by insured Mail. SEE ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DESCRIPTION. USE THE ZOOM TO SEE DETAILS. Thank you for viewing and please take a look at my other listings.
