There are two zippers. 1 is for the part that I used for change. And the 2nd zipper goes around that portion of the wallet. It is around zippered change and the two pockets each flanking the change part. I used these for bills. One for ones and the other for larger bills. And the zipper helped make this part of the wallet more secure. So I wasn’t dropping money or losing g money when I pulled my wallet out to get my credit card. I used the plastic part on the outside for my drivers license so I could see or get to it easily to show etc. hope this explanation helps.
