(SAMPLE PAGE VIEWS) Forbidden Worlds was a fantasy comic from the American Comics Group, which won the 1964 Alley Award for Best Regularly Published Fantasy Comic. It published 145 issues between July/Aug. 1951 to Aug. 1967. Planet Comics was a science fiction comic book title produced by Fiction House and ran for 73 issues from January 1940 to Winter 1953. Like many of Fiction House's early comics titles, Planet Comics was a spinoff of a pulp magazine, in this case Planet Stories, which featured space operatic tales of muscular, heroic space adventurers who were quick with their "ray pistols" and always running into gorgeous females who needed rescuing from bug-eyed space aliens or fiendish interstellar bad guys. This collection on DVD contains 258 issues from Fiction House's library, all in PDF format. Page length varies, each issue is about 30-60 pages. Please note that this collection contains scans of old magazines, some of which were in poor condition before being rescued and digitized for posterity. This means that you may see some covers with creases and tears that show up in the scans.
