Description: another super nice combo specimen from Huanggang mines in Inner Mongolia, China, found around 2012. Here you have water clear Octahedral crystals of Fluorite. Except, part of them have been etched and fully re-healed/recrystallized, like a little iceberg. The photo's don't show it properly, but where you see these octahedrons abruptly stop in the bottom section, if you flip the specimen around, you'll see they are all the way crystallized on the bottom too. Rather as a skeletal growth, but with crystal faces, no cleavage plane! The total is nicely contrasted by Arsenopyrite and a rhomboidal Calcite crystal. The Fluorite crystals are excellent in a quite rare style.This specimen is 78 grams, or 2 3/4 oz. The size is 2 inch x 1.2 inch x 1.2 inch. Please be advised, I ship with ground Advantage.
