Description: BIG SANDY 2 3/8" found in Knox Co Ohio. Found by RF Kinsler of Centerburg Ohio, and later it was in the collection of the late Dr Jim Mills. This point spent years wired to a board and you can see the rust spot running between the notches on one side. This side notch has grinding to the base and notches, and dates to the Early Archaic, approx 10,000 to 8000 years old. The lithic is Flintridge Flint.THANKS FOR VISITING.
