Description: LONG WAVE and SHORT WAVE UV Beautiful Fire Agate specimen with all kinds of nice details and colors. Many richly colored botryoidal alien like features and banding. Magnification is suggested to really see the details as I think this is piece looks like art. Rough piece that has only been washed and had a light coating of mineral oil brushed on the highlighted areas. The mineral oil does not harm anything and is dry to the touch and will dry out after a short time. I did not see any obvious iridescent color play, but on rough pieces it typically isn't noticeable until polished. Brilliant green fluorescence in some areas under short wave UV light and a bit dimmer but still nice under long wave UV. Not pictured. From Mexico.
