Description: Here we have a pre owned Fender Standard Stratocaster HSS electric guitar. Made in Mexico in 2007. The Standard series Stratocasters are a huge bang for your buck. Solidly built and easily upgradable. This guitar has had the bridge pickup changed to a Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates bridge humbucker as well as a Tortoise shell pickup guard. (Original was likely white and is not included). The back plate is still the original white one. The HSS Strat has an Alder body with a bolt- on vintage tinted Maple neck and a 21- fret Rosewood fingerboard. Chrome hardware with a 6- point vintage style tremolo bridge. The guitar weighs 7lbs 12oz. It comes with a molded plastic SKB hard shell case with TSA latches. This Strat has just been setup with 10-46's and is playing great. The neck is straight and the truss rod is working nicely with good travel in both directions. The frets are in very good shape with some general flattening of the tops. No major divots and plenty of life left in them. The guitar plays cleanly up and down the fingerboard. Cosmetically, the guitar is in very good condition. The finish is nice and shiny and a very nice looking Black gloss. There are some bumps and bruises but nothing major. A few marks and small dings on the edges. There is one finish gank/indent on the arm contour edge. Overall pretty clean shape for its age. A good workhorse of an instrument. The Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates absolutely screams.
