Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Thinline NOS Black [SN R2470] Fender Custom Shop 2005 Telecaster Thinline. The soft V-shaped grippy thick neck, which seems to be based on a Telecaster from the 50's, has a unique design with scattered bird's eye grain patterns and flame maple grain patterns at the same time. The one-ply pickguard and weather-checked ash body give it an austere look that is quite rare in the Thinline line. The combination of the Thinline's unique light playing comfort and the tight and attackable sound of ash wood offers the best playability. There are weather checks around the head and bridge. There is a paint chip on the back side near the endpin. There are buckle scratches and minor abrasions on the body back. Paint discoloration can be seen on the back of the head, near the jack, and under the bridge. Overall, there are scratches, dings, metal rust, and signs of use. The neck is near straight and in good playing condition.
