This is a deluxe student model, easily the best beginner instrument on the market (as any band director would agree). These clarinets are lightweight, strong, easy to clean and stable, which makes them perfect for a younger player or for a marching band, when a clarinet is frequently exposed to the elements. What sets these clarinets apart is the overall design with its poly-cylindrical bore and undercut tone holes. All these technical advantages as well as the great quality of the fabrication, produces a clarinet which is easy to play in all registers and that has a deep resonant sound with a tone quality close to that of wood. It is not surprising therefore that for years these clarinets have been highly regarded and recommended by music educators as the model to buy for a beginner or a student in a marching band. The instrument is in great cosmetic condition. There are only a few very minor scuffs and light scratches on the body and on the bottom of the bell. There is a no plating loss. This instrument simply needs a re-pad and it will make a wonderful instrument for beginner band or marching band.
