We purchased these from the distributor in the early 1980s and have stored them in our warehouse since. They are still in virtually MINT condition, with only a small bit of light brown age spotting in some of the borders-- but ALL is hidden under the mats. The folio has a bit of brown age spotting on its interior. Romain de Tirtoff (Roman Petrovich Tyrtov, AKA: ERTE, Russian born French artist,1892-1990) was perhaps the most famous fashion, film, theater, opera, interior and costume designer of his day, who branched out to produce prints, lithographs, jewelry and sculpture-- all based on his Art Deco designs.
