Description: Beautiful antique banker's lamp from the early 1900's. I have not been able to confirm the manufacturer, but the bronze sockets are made by Bryant, which was a manufacturer of electrical parts in Bridgeport, Connecticut prior to 1900. It could be an Emeralite, Amoronlite, or a lamp made by the Pittsburgh Lamp Company. The lamp base is made from solid cast bronze and weighs an amazing 13.5lbs without the glass attached. I have collected and sold many banker's lamps, but I have never encountered a lamp base this heavy and solid. There are no chips in the edge of the shade. The shade sits on a bronze retainer frame, which is not perfectly round, so there is a 1/16" gap, which runs about 2 inches and can be seen on the left side of the shade in the last photo. The lamp is 19" tall from the base to the top of the bronze finial. The base is 7" diameter and the shade measures 12 inches in diameter and 6 inches tall. The lamp has been tested and works. The lamp and shade will be packed and shipped with overwhelming care and padding. Please see my reviews as it pertains to the high level of packaging I provide.
