These are RARE, and mostly came in the first P2500 machines made...eventually E-MU replaced this with the PROM1 ROM that had 5 banks of sounds.... the one that came in the PK-6 This ROM came from the early P2500 Command Stations, and its very hard to find. The ROM is designed for optimized use with any E-MU Command Station yet it functions great in all E-MU synths listed below as well. It contains 4 Banks of sounds (512 total) and 1210 different instruments. The E-MU Proteus 2500 packs 3 times the processing power of the Proteus 2000 occupying a whopping 4 rack units. It comes standard with the Proteus Pop Collection ROM, and uses the same 32MB of samples as the original Composer sound ROM, but with an all new set of 512 presets.
