Description: You are bidding on (1) complete Vintage Electron Inc. AIJ (Amplifier Input Jack) upgrade kit for the Dynaco Stereo 70 tube amplifier; quality made in USA. This kit replaces the old input jacks found on these amps with a high quality FR4 board and gold plated input jacks. Jacks are positioned/spaced wider than the old originals in order to accommodate modern audio cables. The kit is also a dual use upgrade: it can be used with and without the mono/stereo switch. We supply the board which can be used to dress the empty hole left by removing the mono/stereo switch (as some modifications do). The board is scored so that if the mono/stereo switch is retained, simply snap off the blanking plate section of the board. Kit includes: (1) dual use FR4 fiberglass input jack board, (1) red gold plated input jack, (1) black gold plated input jack, new mounting hardware, and complete step by step instructions. First photo shows an assembled jack board installed in a Stereo 70 chassis to show how it looks installed (Stereo 70 chassis not included in this auction, for illustration purposes only), second photo shows what the kit looks like installed in a Stereo 70 which has had the mono/stereo switch removed. Note: we do not supply instructions for removing the mono/stereo switch from the circuit, we are simply providing a means for the hobbyist to dress that empty hole using our input jack board. Please note, we are responsible for the board kit only, and once soldered to, all warranties and guarantees are voided except where the quality of the board kit itself is found to be faulty. SV/SCC was the company that purchased nearly 250,000 pounds of Dynaco parts when Dynaco closed it’s doors back in 1979; they also purchased the existing Hafler inventory from the Rockford Fosgate Corporation back in the early 1990‘s. Quantities of some parts (both Dynaco and Hafler) are very limited as can be expected.
