Produces blooms and fruit on last year’s wood. Used to extend harvest time, usually fruit ripens after Issai kiwi’s fruiting ends. Creates a beautifully fragrant privacy screen. Produces sweet, juicy fruit, without the fuzzy skin of traditional kiwi fruits, you just eat the entire kiwi whole. In early summer, fragrant white flowers cover the glossy green foliage for an even more beautiful look. Beneficial pollinators, such as butterflies love kiwi vines. I send out oldest plants first, yours may be bigger or smaller, but they grow pretty quickly I do not use pesticides on anything on my property. Plants are grown naturally here in cold WI without chemicals/pesticides. Depending on WI season they will be dormant beginning of season to growing to going dormant at end of season.
