They use great materials, in thoughtful designs, that are then assembled with remarkable precision. The RIFFLE is no exception in regards to being an incredible value. The RIFFLE is my go-to when I think I may be dealing with food of any kind (most days for me). It's a slicing delight, with 3.0mm of blade thickness. The combination of a flat grind on a nicely jimped leaf shaped blade...and you will not miss your kitchen knives for a moment. Completing ideal slicing ergonomics with Sandvik 14C28N, a true martensitic stainless chromium, designed for edge strength, blade stability, and corrosion resistance, is perfection. What could make this combination better you ask...how about scales that actually provide a better grip when wet. Yes, Micarta is thought to give an even better grip when wet. Could you do better, absolutely, but you will end up spending some serious money to do so, and even then you may miss the mark. I love my Riffle...and you will too!
